Manic Miner Mobile is now complete!
After starting in May and 5 months of coding on and off, the game is ready for download.
It is a straight remake of the speccy original utilising the graphics from Andy Noble’s version with kind permission from the man himself.
The game has been coded for java compatible phones with screen sizes of 240×320, 256 colour or better screens. You also need a keypad which seems a silly point but it will not work correctly on touch screen phones.
The game can be downloaded HERE.

Curses! My screen is just too small.
I’ve just downloaded the Mooncresta Retro Arcade remake produced by you from the above site. Its great to see and brings memories back of playing back in my school days. Superb! Do you remember the music that originally played whilst starting? or after docking successfully and starting a new level? It was fantastic…. I wonder if anyone can reproduce this?
Thanks
Steve
[...] But just in case your poor mobile phone gets jealous Scottige wraps up Mr Smiths original classic a delivers a top notch remake. Check out Manic Miner Mobile. [...]
About bloody time you got this done!
Top notch job you’ve done there Mr. Scottige…shame my phone screen is too bloody small :-/
Great work!
amazing work the music score is awesome.
Great work I like it a lot! It is so exciting to see Manic Miner on the phone… I had another commercial version on an old Nokia but didn´t like it… graphics too big, could not see the screen! Do you have other projects such as this one? I´d love to see Bubble Ghost done for mobile, and it seems also an easy one to do… If I could program… but I´m a doctor! Thanks for the game!
